The Traveling Green Bench, Continued

Hey all!

I finally got that 80 grit sandpaper, and it worked like magic. The green paint came flying off and revealed the green bench's past lives. Red, white (whadda ya know?) and yellow! It's definitely lived a very exciting life, and I'm glad to be a part of it. Now you might think the green bench has gone back to boring, being white and all, but I would disagree. Take a look...

I'm gorgeous, darling.

More to come, of course. The paints are purchased for the next stage of the project. I'll be painting a vintage floral pattern, inspired by this:

It's going to take a while to paint my own flowers, so you won't see this pretty little bench for a while. She's got to get ready for her debut as the best seat in the house, finally. Yes, I've decided she's a classy lady.

Get ready for next week's post on my upcoming painting project. Can't wait to see you then! Thanks for stopping by today!
